Overview: At UCSD most orders are placed through Marketplace. Marketplace direct orders through Officemax. Marketplace is the middleman essentally.


I ordered an adjustable keyboard tray for my desk on Monday. Cost roughly $145. Today a heavy box arrived for me. I looked through the crack in the packing tape and it didn't look like a keyboard tray. I ripped off the packing slip from the outside and it said Original Item no longer available an item of equal or greater value has been shipped. So I opened the box and inside were 8 boxes of legal size hanging file folders. I guess it is equal value but not utility. I guess they expect me to be like MacGuyver to assemble the keyboard tray. If only they gave me a box of paperclips.......
